A FTSE-100 company had a requirement for a Seminar for a key management conference. The client operates in a business-to-business sector with individual contracts often running to hundreds of millions. The MD wished to challenge delegates’ preconceptions, deliver a truly memorable conference event, and really sharpen the working practices towards achieving a higher percentage of contracts won.
After the conference Seminar the MD recognised that, with so much riding on a small number of very high value contracts, the debriefing process used by fighter pilots to extract maximum learning was highly relevant and might offer a competitive edge.
Subsequently, Mission Excellence delivered debrief and strategy implementation Masterclasses to managers. A tailored debrief process, owned by the client, was introduced as a result of the workshop and has now been implemented via facilitated debriefs of live client projects. Mission Excellence was subsequently recommended to another division.
