Mission Excellence share platform with Olympic hero

Justin Hughes of Mission Excellence and Sebastian Coe recently addressed the Royal Bank of Scotland's Commercial Banking Leadership Forum, on elite performance and achieving results in high pressure situations. In an entertaining keynote Justin analysed the consistent excellence of The Red Arrows and how its approach to teamwork, leadership and performance successfully aligns itself with business. He then shared the platform with Seb Coe in an eventful Q&A session.

Steve Pateman, Managing Director, Commercial Banking RBS commented:

"The CBLF was about trying to get the management team to think differently about the business and their opportunity to influence it’s future success – it was the first time that the Commercial Banking business had experienced a Conference with non-Bank speakers where the focus was on the ‘how’ we do things rather than the ‘what’. It was thus important to have speakers who could create an immediate impact based on what they have achieved/done and use that as the ‘hook’ to deliver some messages about leadership, teamwork, planning and actually owning a business rather than just doing what someone tells you."
