With Leadership Development one of the hottest topics of the moment, Mission Excellence - a company who know more than most about leadership in high pressure environments– is delighted to announce the launch of a new range of Leadership Development Programmes.

To be launched in April at HRD 2005, this powerful training suite is based on the belief that experiential learning is vital in the development of an individual’s leadership values and behaviours.

Justin Hughes, Managing Director comments;

“Even as a senior commander in the RAF, you are constantly exposed to “stretch” experiences within teams and organisations, whether as the leader or a team member observing a different leader. The development comes from the correct identification of learning from those experiences – for the benefit of ALL team members. This is an equally valid concept in the business world”

“We believe that each person defines values and behaviours according to their own individual knowledge and experiences – it’s a personal thing. However, we can facilitate proven techniques to help channel and implement the behaviours defined by delegates themselves as being the right ones.”

Delegates are introduced to “stretch” experiences both in and out of scenario and to powerful debriefing techniques to facilitate learning. We then help delegates put the learning in context and develop personal action plans.

The aim of all our interventions is to develop understanding and practice the implementation of winning leadership behaviours.”

The wide range of bespoke interventions available from Mission Excellence is headed by the Leadership Excellence Programme, a structured, six month, modular course designed for clients looking for a challenging learning and development opportunity for high potential leaders.
